Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was a bit of a mixed bag for me. While the room situation was a bit inconvenient with a wait and some issues, it was ultimately decent enough for a comfortable stay. The service was a bit hit or miss, ranging from very polite and helpful to a bit rude and dismissive based on age. The location was satisfactory and met my needs, offering convenience to New Carrolton station. The dining experience had its highlights with a good selection but lacked some seasoning in certain dishes.
The hotel's location is convenient with easy access to highways and nearby stores for food purchases. The rooms were somewhat outdated and lacked essential coffee and tea amenities, but the service was friendly and helpful despite some issues in the bathrooms and nighttime noise. The dining experience left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness and food quality, overshadowing the positive aspects of the hotel.
My stay at Metro Points was a good value for the clean room and affordable price, but there was a lingering smell of smoke from previous guests.
